Showing lovely balance, this creamy Champagne displays fine, silky texture and an undertow of smoky mineral and ground spice meshed with flavors of black currant and crème de cassis, hazelnut, grated coconut and wild strawberry. Mouthwatering and delicious. Disgorged April 2012. Drink now through 2020. 100 cases imported.

"The wine is a pale salmon color and delivers a refined aromatic constellation of white cherry, strawberry, chalky soil tones, a touch of rhubarb, bread dough, dried rose petals and a hint of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and precise, with a good core and soil undertow, very elegant mousse, excellent balance and grip and a long, complex and vibrant finish. This is already drinking very nicely and will clearly age gracefully over at least the next couple of decades. First class juice." A special gift to be sure!
